BioScrip Clean Rooms

PlanForce has completed more than 20 clean room facilities for BioScrip since 2008. A typical clean room is about 400 square feet with rooms from ISO 5 to ISO 7.

Clean rooms normally consist of an Ante, Compound, and Hazardous Compounding rooms. Either benches or hoods are utilized. Supervisory visibility is a must. Durable and cleanable surfaces are mandatory. A cost-effective mechanical system is critical. Air flow is key, and pressure is constantly monitored. A prep room is often contained within the clean room’s conditioned air. Clean rooms require security and easy access to drug storage.
