Universal Stone is the leading company for fabricating, designing, and installing high-quality natural stone countertops in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. In 2020, PlanForce was engaged to optimize Universal Stone’s production, manufacturing, and warehouse processes with an innovative design. Through a streamlined process, this unique design-build project for Universal Stone directly impacted their customer experience by enhancing their showroom and adding a large lobby to highlight individual stone pieces within their space.

By integrating bridge cranes into the structure, PlanForce was able to maximize efficiency and achieve sustainability goals for Universal Stone’s renovated building. Together, the PlanForce team and Mesenbrink Construction worked closely to meet the client’s goals for their 52,000-square-foot project. Thanks to PlanForce’s holistic approach to architecture and interior design, our team was able to strategize, design, and deliver Universal Stone a thoughtfully renovated showroom, increase manufacturing efficiencies, and dramatically improve their showroom experience for their rockin’ customers.
