Chris’ Food Center — Sandstone, MN

The Chris’ Food Center grocery store acts as the anchor for a new 13-acre development in Sandstone, MN. The owner of the development worked with PlanForce Group to create a “landmark structure” that is distinctive, energy efficient, and a source of pride for the community.

The site owner wanted to provide the community with a development that would incorporate many necessary amenities such as a convenience store, car wash, and grocery store situated in one area. We created 3D models of the building designs, which helped the owners visualize the building as seen by approaching customers. Interesting building details that were in harmony with the abundance of natural materials such as wood, were incorporated into the storefront design.
