Two PlanForce-designed projects have been named as finalists in the 2019 Minnesota Real Estate Awards by the Minnesota Real Estate Journal.
Interior Design
Sanctuary SalonSpa (which previously won an MSCA STARR Award for Retail Design) has been named a finalist in the Interior Design — Housing, Hospitality, Retail & Restaurant category. The retail store, salon, and spa was built into a historic building in the heart of downtown Excelsior and features a unique, basement-level spa.
Mixed-Use Redevelopment
The Case Building has been named a finalist in the Redevelopment/Reuse/Historic — Mixed-Use & Retail category. The warehouse-to-office conversion, currently underway, promises to be one of the year’s most talked about Twin Cities commercial architecture projects. With 15 ft. ceilings open to the deck, skylights throughout, a large, interior “streetscape,” and exposed metal beams, Case is a must-see example of adaptive reuse.
